SAHNI RESIDENCE

The Sahni Residence in Pehowa is a contemporary style architecture.  Sahni's Residence is a culmination of traditional Vastu concepts with a modern outlook.

 

The client wanted to have a double-height living hall and lobby space. The texture and materials for the facade were inspired by the organic forms and earthy neutral colors. With a transition of controlled CNC cut jali, a second skin is encasing the house to help remove any feeling of discomfort within the space due to the south-facing façade. This jali pattern also creates interesting shadows on the wall during the day.
